Our Work

This paper contains summaries and commentary on eight articles relating to land preservation in planning. It discusses the various planning approaches to land preservation, such as transfer of development rights (TDRs), conservation easements, and tax alleviation. It also discusses combatting sprawl and directing growth to the city centers. Additionally, solar farms and agricultural planning are mentioned. This assignment allowed me to explore my interest in land preservation and conservation while increasing my planning knowledge.
